  • Description Description

    Ocu-GLO commonly suffer from ophthalmic diseases that can diminish not only their sight but also their quality of life. Most breeds of dogs are genetically predisposed to developing many different kinds of ocular diseases, such as retinal disease, glaucoma, and cataracts. Additionally, any dog can develop ocular disorders as a result of diet, age, and/or environment. The eye is constantly bombarded by light, creating oxidative stress. This in turn can trigger a toxic soup of free radicals which damages cells of the eye.

    Ocu-GLO Canine Vision Supplement was formulated by veterinary ophthalmologists and a compounding pharmacist to help combat the damaging effects of free radicals at the cellular level. It also helps support ocular health in normal dogs, which is especially important for any dog at risk for developing ocular disease. Ocu-GLO provides a balanced blend of 12 natural antioxidants derived from the purest and highest quality ingredients available. Because Ocu-GLO is administered orally, it may also help support healthy brain function, which is especially important in geriatric dogs with Canine Cognitive Dysfunction. It also supports immune health, joint health, and also skin and coat health.

    While Ocu-GLO is an excellent stand-alone canine supplement, it can also be combined with the other members of Animal Necessity's family of natural nutraceuticals, including: Joint Guard; Imuno-2865; Serenin Vet; Healthy Aging Vet, Weight Guard Vet, and ShaNa Vet;

    My 12 year old Chihuahua rat terrier has Progressive Retinal Atrophy/Degeneration and has been on this supplement for over 4-5 years now. This supplement has been a great addition to her routine. It has kept her eyes healthy and definitely helped slowed down the process of the Progressive Retinal Atrophy/Degeneration and her cataracts. We will always use this!

  • Love this for my best friend :)

    Hello. My son's pit King, stays downstairs with me. Follows me everywhere, sleeps with me, he has been the best companion, and yes he even talks "smack" back to me if he doesn't get his own way. I stumbled across Ocu-Glow last year and have been using it ever since. His eyes cleared up of the "fog" from the cataracts, I was amazed. King eats what I eat, even my home made sauerkraut :), but he don't like the taste of these if they break open. I roll each pill up in lunchmeat, then have extra slice ready so he will gulp down last pill, works like a charm. King is going to be 15 years old this year in May. On an average, experts say bigger dogs only live to be around 9 years. Now if it can be done for animals, how come not for people? Big pharma and the almighty $, so sad isn't it?

    My vet has prescribed ocu-glo to to try to slow the progress of PRA (progressive retinal atrophy). I could wish that my dog didn't have PRA, but since it is being diagnosed so rarely, it has proven to be impossible to find the genetic marker. The product seems to be helping as my dog is not totally blind YET.
