  • Description Description
Once your cat becomes infected with the feline herpesvirus type 1 (FHV-1), he will be infected for the course of his life. You can, however, give care, treat symptoms, and limit the length of the outbreak. Symptoms include runny eyes and nose, sneezing, fever, a loss of appetite, and perhaps ulcers in the mouth or on the tongue. Kittens and older cats are most susceptible. While there is no cure for the feline herpesvirus type 1 (FHV-1), it is good to know a product like Enisyl-F oral paste is available to minimize the effects. Enisyl-F for cats contains L-Lysine, an amino acid that helps subdue viral replication. It can reduce symptoms, shorten the time that your cat will have to suffer the symptoms, and reduce the frequency of the outbreaks. Enisyl-F is a safe, affordable and palatable paste for your kitten or adult cat. Enisyl-F with L-Lysine comes in a unique pump that makes it simpler to administer. When your cat shows the upper respiratory signs of a herpes virus outbreak, it is good to know there is an effective product to minimize the effects. Enisyl-F Oral Paste for Cats with L-Lysine is here to help.

My Feline Herpes kitty is growing big and strong and I believe it is at least in part because of the Lysine Treats I give him daily. He thinks he is special cause he is the only one who gets these and when I rattle the bag he comes running! This stuff tho is great cause he fights the paste and won\'t eat food w/powder on it. Now if only we could find an effective way to treat the chronic diarrhea! Clears up with antibiotics but then comes right back.!

The cat herpes virus cannot be cured, only palliative care can be applied. Lysine is the most widely used, and in particular the enysil is one of the best products, easy application and acceptable by the animal

My kitty missed necessary vaccines (she was a feral rescue) and has a lot of trouble with sniffles, sneezing and runny eyes. These do a great job of keeping her symptoms under control and her life much more comfortable.

My cat enjoys these lysine treats either on their own or just added to her bowl of kibble. I keep her on the maintenance dose of 6 treats per day and this reduces her nasal congestion and coughing.

We have four indoor cats and one of them is prone to a condition that results in a film over his eye. We call these, Clyde's Special Treats and he eats them readily. The film hasn't come back. Glad they are available.

My cat is one of the pickiest eaters I have ever seen. I\'ve tried the Lysine powder for my cat but she refused to eat it. I\'ve tried another type of Lysine treat and she also refused to eat that. But when I tried giving her these treats she absolutly loves them and can not get enough of them!

Has had a bad cough for about 9 Mo. Responded poorly to antibiotics. Read somewhere that L-Lysine was good for lungs and breathing, so I gave it a try. My cat is much improved, still coughs but much better than he was. He is 17 years old and is eating good again, has gained some weight and is playful again. I would recommend this product and would give it 4 1/2 starts.
