Add a scoop of rice and a 1/2 cup hot water to 2 cups of food. He used to eat it right when it was put in his bowl. Now it sits in the bowl most of the day before he eats it I did noting the food is much lighter in color than the 1st 12 or 15 bags we got him. The cost is really high considering it cost us over 400 a month. I feel using as a topper would only mean feeding him inferior food as well. If we did that, then it would be pointless. I noticed the vendor response says they work with manufacturers and competitors to keep price down. I am not sure how working with a competitor with keep the price down.

I guess I’m wondering how this can be as high priced as it is since the majority of the meats used are generally what is thrown out !! I get that freeze drying is a long process but still , this needs to be more affordable for the average person so we all can have a chance and our pets living v long lives and being healthy , because that is what we all want for our pets ! My dog had become lethargic and wasn't eating her food. When I tried this blend, and tried to transition her, she was actually picking her old food out and spitting it on the floor. She absolutely loves this! Her appetite is back, and she's become more active. I love to see her this way!

I just received our bags of food. My picky dog loves it. But I am very worried about the warning in the bad of food. I did look it up but still concerned. I’ve been waiting for sometime before purchasing it but I listen to Steph ie Miller. She put her small dogs on it so I decided to try it.

My Chaweenie is very picky and and I'm thrilled to have found this freeze dried healthy food that he likes. I often put very small pieces of cooked chicken, pork, or beef in it also and he happily pounds it down. Customer service is very helpful also.
