      Don't waste your money. First one we bought lasted about 8 months. the second about 2 weeks.

      We have had this heater in our 20 gallon tank for 2 years now and it's still working great! Keeps the water at a perfect 78 degrees at all times and because of the plastic cover, I don't have to worry about my turtle getting burned.
