    Lifeline Rescue Lamb & Kid is the only serum-based colostrum replacer specifically formulated for newborn lambs and kids. Formulated to provide a complete replacement to maternal colostrum, or as a supplement. Ideal for preemies, multiples and orphans, or when colostrum is in short supply.     Useful Info

    Begin feeding Rescue Lamb & Kid as soon as possible following birth. Body weight determines amount of powder to feed. Give 18 grams of powder per pound of body weight over 24 hours. Use the chart as a guide.

    FOR EACH FEEDING, MIX 1/4 CUP (25 g) OF POWDER WITH 4 OUNCES OF WATER

    For example: an average 10 lb lamb would receive:

    2 cups powder/32 oz water/Over first 24 hours.

    Mix Rescue Lamb & Kid into warm (105?) water. Stir until the powder is completely dissolved. Feed to the lamb or kid via nipple feeder or esophageal feeder. Only mix enough powder for one feeding at a time.

    TO FEED AS A SUPPLEMENT

    For each feeding, mix 2 tablespoons of powder into 2 ounces of water. Feed in addition to colostrum. One tub feeds 6 - 14 animals.

    Storage:

    Store at room temperature in a dry place. Used mixed product immediately - do not store.
