  • Description Description

For-bid stops coprophagia (pets eating stool). Vegetable protein and sodium glutamate work in the digestive system to give stools a bad taste.

For-bid has been used by thousands of veterinarians in both cats and dogs without adverse reactions and with excellent efficacy.

    Directions

Simply sprinkle For-bid on your dog's food. This will impart a forbidden and unpalatable taste to the feces. For-bid is not an enzyme mixture which alters the normal endogenous digestive process.

    Dosage

    Dogs 3-20 lbs

1/4 packet (1/2 teaspoon) twice per day for 5 days

    Dogs 20-100 lbs

1/2 packet (1 teaspoon) twice per day for 5-6 days

    Cats

1/4 packet (1/2 teaspoon) twice per day for 5 days

    Quick Tips

  • If coprophogia starts again after initial feeding, give 1 gram (just a pinch) per day for 2-3 weeks, or as necessary until unwanted behavior stops.
  • When a dog is eating another dog's stool or from a cat's litter box. we recommend feeding For-bid to both animals as directed above.

    • Horses eating their POO!

Posted by Sara J. on Jan 30th 2012

Fori the first time in 44 years, I witnessed adult horses eating their manure. I am certain that these horses were doing do to bordem. They were horses that came in from a large pasture, to be stalled with a run. Within a month they started eating about 50% of their piles. Being a Vet. Tech. I knew about \"Forbid\" for dogs and cats. Someone told me that it has been used on horses. I ordered it and it does work. This vise is also learned. My horse who never did this, started doing it. I treated her for only 2 days. She stopped, buit started back up a week later. I treated her 5 days, and she stopped. completely. All the horses ate it with no problem.
