Not Viralys!
We recently had a stray wander up, so I bought this as a cheaper alternative to Viralys. It is very thick and has the consistency of paste, not a gel. Apparently it didn't have the greatest flavor, either, as none of our cats would eat it. We thought maybe it was cold/frozen from shipping and would thin down, but it never did. My husband eventually added some maple syrup to improve the texture and taste, and it's starting to disappear.

Only L-lysine product cat will eat.
My 5 year old female cat has herpies, like 95% of all cats. The herpies impacts her breathing and she was sneezing almost constantly. L-lysine has reduced her sneezing and improved her breathing significantly. This is the ONLY l-lysine product she will eat, my cat is quite the picky eater. Purchased the 3 pack of the gel lysine. Next time will get the 6 pack. I am very pleased with this produce. Best if all the cats symptoms have been greatly reduced.

Great product
I was worried with 4 cats, someone wouldn't eat it. They all did! I sprinkled it on their dry food, easy. All 4 had a sinus infection, I'm sure the antibiotics worked best, but I think this gave them that needed extra boost.

Healthy Pets Is a Great company but my cat hates this Gel
I've always bought the other more expensive brand for my big male cat. I thought I'd save a little money and try this generic PHS L-Lysine. I compared the ingredients and they were basically the same except for the order in ingredient list. Same dose of L-lysine. My cat ate the other brand gel voraciously. He smells this one, smells again and won't touch it. This brand is VERY runny and will drip off your finger and make a mess on the floor if you are not careful. I've always before put a small amount on my finger and he cleaned it up. It's not worth the fight wrestling him to try to poke this goo down his throat and having it flipped all over the house. PHS Felisyl L-lysine was not a wise buy for me.. As expensive as pet care products are these days I've wasted $25 on two tubes of this stuff.
